Saint Anastasia the Deliverer from Potions
Great martyr who helped imprisoned Christians during Diocletian's persecution.
Biography
Anastasia was a Christian of noble birth who, during the persecution under Diocletian, visited imprisoned Christians, cared for them and gave them courage.
She was martyred in the early fourth century. Her title Pharmakolytria means “deliverer from potions”, a protector against poisons and spells.
