Biography
Euphemia was martyred at Chalcedon in the early fourth century. She is commemorated on 16 September, the day of her martyrdom.
On 11 July the Church remembers the miracle which, according to tradition, took place with her relics at the Fourth Ecumenical Council of Chalcedon (451), which met in her church.
