The wife of the steward Chuza and one of the women who ministered to Jesus and were among the first to learn of his Resurrection.

Biography

Joanna was the wife of Chuza, Herod's steward, and one of the women who ministered to Jesus together with his disciples, as the Gospel of Luke records. She is counted among the Myrrh-bearing women who were among the first to learn of Christ's Resurrection, and she died in peace.
