Saint Photini the Samaritan Woman
The Samaritan woman of the Gospel of John who met Christ at Jacob's well.
Biography
According to the Gospel of John, a woman from Samaria met Christ at Jacob's well and told her townspeople about Him. Church tradition gives her the name Photini.
According to tradition she preached the Gospel and was martyred with her sons and sisters under Nero.
