Saint Timothy of Prousa

A martyr under Julian the Apostate, credited by tradition with miraculously killing a dragon near Prousa.

Biography

Timothy was martyred in the days of Julian the Apostate. According to the Synaxarion, in 361 he miraculously killed a dragon that lurked between Prousa and its hot springs, showing the grace God had given him. Not long after, he gave his blood for faith in Christ.
